It’s nothing auditory, this ringing. It’s the repeating and growing echoes that slowly fill the field of vision until all you see are the concentric circles. Puddles in springtime – a chorus of invisible bells, pealing through the season.

This one’s for the beautiful and charismatic Ms. Nina Oberto. Thanks for the fantastic word! I asked Facebook, Twitter and my blog readers to donate some of their favorite words to my 365 project.
