039.365 blowing snow

Now, we never would have bought the snowblower ourselves. We were fortunate enough to inherit it from my aunt and uncle when they moved to South Carolina (… they maybe will need it more than they realize!). Mr. Buzzkill is the snowblower of our house. I shovel the smaller walks and stairs that the blower can’t get at, and he blows the driveway and larger walks. It’s been snowing since late yesterday afternoon and is supposed to keep going through early tomorrow afternoon. Nothing that comes close to matching the amounts on the east coast, but it certainly makes the cold more bearable. Our snow was getting awfully grimy – it’s all better now.

My husband told me that perhaps today would be the day I should learn to run the snowblower. I said No Way! I clean out the corners and paths where the snowblower can’t go. That’s my job and I’m sticking to it.
